Public Service Commission, West Bengal has issued a latest employment notification for the recruitment of 94 Inspector of Factories, General Manager, Asst Director & Other Vacancies on temporary & permanent basis. Candidates can apply in prescribed format and send it to the official address along with all required documents.

As per official stats, WBPSC is going to recruit candidates for various posts. There are total 94 vacancies to be available on this post. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test/ Written examination, Interview.

Educational Qualification & Age Limit

• For Inspector of Factories Post: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

(Age: Not more than 35 years on 01.01.2014)

• For General Manager/ Deputy Director Post: Degree in Engineering/ Technology or a second class Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce or equivalent.

(Age Limit: Not more than 40 years)

• For Join Director Post: Post graduation degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.)

(Age Limit: Not more than 52 years )

• For Asst Director (Fodder) & Assistant Director (Admn/ C&DD/ Management/ SA) Post: Degree in Agriculture or a degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.

(Age Limit: Not more than 40 years on 01.01.2014)

• For Veterinary Officer Post: Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A.H.)

(Age Limit: Not more than 32 years on 01.01.2014)

• For Head Master Post: Second class Master degree of a recognized university or equivalent. 10 years of teaching experience. Should be able to speak and write in bengali language.

(Age Limit- Not more than 45 years as on 01.01.2014)

• For Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Post: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent along with One year’s practical engineering experience.

(Age Limit: Not more than 32 years on 01.01.2014)

• For Assistant Traffic & Transportation Engineer: Degree in Civil Engineering with High Way Engineering.

Selection Process

Candidates are selected based on Screening Test/ Written examination, Interview.

Candidates are required to pay Rs.210/-

Fee Modes:

Through Indian Postal Order payable at G.P.O, Kolkata and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or you can make payment through receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”

For SC/ ST of West Bengal and PWD candidates: No Fee Required.
