Punjab University has announced an employment opportunity for the recruitment notification of 150 vacancies for Assistant Professor and Assistant Director posts. Educational qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree/Post Graduate/Ph.D in relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Application fee

• For General candidates-Rs 375/-


• For SC/ST candidates- Rs 150/-


• For Physically Handicapped candidates- Rs 185/-

Selected candidate will get following pay scale.

• Associate Professors- Rs.37400-67000 + AGP of 9000/-


• Assistant Professors- Rs.15600-39100 + AGP of 6000/-


• Director Professor- Rs.37400-67000 + AGP of 10000/-


• Professors- Rs.37400-67000 + AGP of 10000/-


• Director Physical Education & Sports- Rs.37400-67000 + GP of 10000/-


• Assistant Director/Assistant Professor- Rs.15600-39100 + AGP of 6000/-


• Chief of University Security- Rs.15600-39100 + GP of 6600/-
