Karnataka State Police has recently declared a latest employment notification on its official Web Portal. They are all set to recruit 285 vacancies for Police Sub Inspector (Civil) (Men & Women)/ RSI (CAR/ DAR) (Men) Posts.

To get selected, candidates need to perform well in Written Examination, Physical Endurance Test & Viva-Voce. Police Sub Inspector (Civil) (Men & Women)/ RSI (CAR/ DAR) (Men)

Details of Vacancies In PSI, CIVIL)/ (RSI, CAR/ DAR)

• PSI (Civil) (Men & Women): 233 posts


• RSI (CAR/ DAR) (Only for Men): 52 posts

Age Limit:

• For General category candidates: Age should not below than 19 and should not exceed 25 years


• For Reserved category candidates: Age not below than 19 and not more than 27 years as on 07-10-2014.

Required Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have Any Degree from University recognized by UGC or Equivalent.

Application Fee:

For GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category: You have to pay Rs.250/-

For SC, ST, CAT-01: Rs.100/-

Fee Payment procedure

Through challan form at State Bank of Mysore (SBM)/ State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH).

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of following criteria..

• Written Examination,
