Shortlisted candidates will be called for computer proficiency test, shorthand test.

Punjab and Haryana High Court is situated in Chandigarh, the capital of the States of Punjab and Haryana. There are 49 judges on the strength of Punjab & Haryana High Court.

Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade-III

Age Limit

• For General category candidates: 18 – 38 years.


• For SC/ BC candidates of Punjab: 18 – 43 years


• For women candidates: 18 – 40 years


• For PHC candidates of Punjab: 18 – 48 years.


• For PHC (SC) candidates of Punjab: 18 – 53 years


• For PHC (BC/ OBC) candidates of Punjab: 18 – 53 years


• Age as on 01-01-2014.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university.

Proficiency in operation of computers is mandatory.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for computer proficiency test, shorthand test.

Application Fee

General & Reserved categories of other states are required to pay Rs.500/- and SC/ BC/ ESM candidates must pay Rs.125/-

• Now Click on the “Current Openings” —-> Stenographer Grade-III(Subordinate Courts of Punjab)”.


• Click on the “Apply Online” link which contains two stages (Registration-I and Registration-II)


• Start with Registration-I process – fill all details carefully.


• After registration you will be allotted a unique Registration ID and Password.


• Now Pay the fee to any branch of SBI after at least 4 hours.


• After payment of fee, you will get a unique Transaction/ Journal number.


• Now move on to the Registration-II process


• Fill the details of fee payment


• Upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature and submit button it


• You will received a an email/ SMS


• Take the printout copies of application form for future use.
